I started this project by using my London photoshoot to create more simplistic pieces that reflect Paula Scher's branding work. I then moved on to creating busier illustrations that link to her more complicated map pieces.

Illustration experimentation
After looking at Jenni Spark's illustration, I tried combining my own illustrations with simplistic lines that represent the London Underground maps.
This experimentation didn't work how I anticipated it to, but was more for experimentation. However, I continue to take influence from Jenni Sparks in my other stages.
